Noodlehead Gathered Clutch

I'm not normally a bag or pouch maker- I've made a couple in my life, but just haven't been bitten by the bag bug. But I wanted to sew a gift for my coworker, and bags/pouches are the best one-size-fits-all, everybody needs 'em kind of gift.

If I was going to sew bags, I thought it best to start with the experts. I've always admired the Noodlehead bags I've seen around the interwebs, so I started with the great, free "gathered clutch" tutorial on Noodlehead.

This cute little pouch was really easy to put together. The only problem I faced is that I think I caught one of the zipper tabs when sewing the outer edge, so one corner is not as crisp as it could be. But otherwise the gathered clutch is very straightforward and really very quick!

You'll recognize the fabric combo from the Pajama Eater I made my niece a while back. This clutch is a good scrap buster!
