Liesl + Co Classic Shirt in Linen

A classic white Classic Shirt...

I've expressed my love for the Liesl + Co Classic Shirt pattern before... it's a good one! Timeless details, cup sizes. Yep.

This Classic Shirt is made in designer linen from Fabric Mart... this stuff is good. Real good. Sadly, my photos don't really show the lovely texture well at all.

Note: I received the linen for free from Fabric Mart, but all of my opinions are my own.

My summer plans involve basically wearing linen 24/7... a lady who linens, if you will. It's definitely not summer here, yet, though, so this is some wishful sewing.

I made the version of the Classic Shirt with the cut-on button plackets and basic patch pockets. I opted for traditional white buttons.

The only changes I made to this size 16D Classic Shirt were to curve them hem a bit on the sides (I sorta used the curved hem of the Liesl + Co All Day Shirt as a guide), and to make a full bicep adjustment to the sleeves.

Love it, love it, love it. It's the perfect slouchy, but not too slouchy fit. And the linen is perfectly wrinkly, but not too wrinkly. Know what I mean?

Sorry for the crap photos. You'll have to trust me on this one!

Go read more about this Classic Shirt and another not-so-classic shirt I made from the same linen at the Fabric Mart Fabricistas blog!
