Testing, testing: Muna and Broad Waikerie Shirt

Hurrah! Another Muna and Broad pattern!

This shirt, the Waikerie, is the latest from this fabulous company. I love testing for them because they're great people, but also because they've made such strong commitments to inclusive sizing and to anti-racism action.

Note: I was a tester for this pattern, so I received the pattern for free, as well as fabric stipend.

The version shown here is the tester version of the Waikerie; some changes have been made since testing. The final pattern lengthens the cropped version by three inches and the collar shape has been tweaked slightly.

The Waikerie shirt is a boxy, oversized button-up shirt with interchangeable options for short or long sleeves, collarless or a faced collar that can be worn like a camp collar or buttoned-up, and multiple lengths and hem options.

I sewed up View A, the cropped, sleeveless version with the collar, in the smallest size.

My fabric is a super soft cotton voile I had in my stash, originally purchased in Thailand.

I just love my Waikerie! It's a teeny bit short, but that's been fixed for the final pattern, as I stated.

I'm looking forward to trying the other versions, especially the mitered hem version. I love a good mitered hem!

My Waikerie is paired here with a pair of tencel Ninni culottes that I haven't blogged and secretly wish were Glebe Pants.
