A tale of two t-shirts.
I intended to cut the sleeves full length, but ran out of fabric, so I ended up with three-quarter length sleeves.
The fabric is a bamboo/lycra jersey knit in a perfectly autumn pumpkin-y orange, from my local fabric shop. Slinky and soft.
Very happy with this t-shirt! A perfect fall layering piece.
The stripey one is the Seamwork Devon pattern, turned into a boxy t-shirt like I did this past spring. I really like the black striped Devon from the spring, so I made its negative, white with black stripes.
This is the same size, size 16 from the curvy size range (which is probably a size down from my current measurements).
I cut the pattern at the hip markings (plus a deep hem) and applied a neckband instead of a cowl neck.
The fabric I used is a white and black striped jersey that I bought in Vietnam several years back. I'm not sure the content, but maybe a rayon blend of some sort? Beefier than the orange jersey, but still with plenty of drape.
Pretty happy with this t-shirt, too! Perfect for layering.
