Batik Jersey Jackson Pullover

The highest compliment that can be made concerning a handmade item is that it's worn out...

Sybil Sweatshirt in Ponte

For some reason this new pattern from Just Patterns just spoke to me; I bought it and made it during the pattern release week.

Jenna Shirt Two Ways

This past Me-Made-May I noticed that I was wearing my Closet Core Patterns Jenna shirt constantly. By itself, as a layer... I reached (reach!) for it regularly.

Autumn Transition Night Lights Shawl

Autumn has cometh. The leaves are turning, I had to add the wool blanket to my bed... I love it. Perfect weather for knitting and wearing knits!

(I know, I know, it’s going to be 80 this weekend, but for a moment it was autumn.)

This is the Drea Renee Knits / Andrea Mowry Night Lights shawl, a stretched out triangle shawl that I've been working on over the past month or so.

Linen Lobster Shirt

Leaning really hard into this ocean-creature themed crafting.

Swimalong Crossbody Bag

Another day, another fish bag... what can I say, it's addictive, baby fish mouth is sweeping the nation, and this whimsical fishy crafting is a good distraction from the daily horrors.

Inspired by the #FishGirlFallMAL, I dug out a fish-themed sewing pattern I've had for a while, but haven't gotten to sewing yet!

Catch of the Day Crochet Purses

I had a trip to Cape Cod planned this month, and in a great coincidence, a week before the trip, the #FishGirlFallMAL was announced. This combination of fishy location and fishy makealong apparently kicked me into high fish-making gear... I made not one, not two, but four fish-shaped bags in the past few weeks!

Tropical Fran Pajamas

POV: you're my neighbor and you catch me wandering in my garden in my pajamas with a coffee, checking on the incremental progress of my cucumbers, harvesting a handful of cherry tomatoes and spying on the sleepy, pollen-drunk bees in the squash blossoms.

Two stripey tees for summer!

Butter is Better Gilbert Top

Is this both the ugliest and the best thing I have ever made?

Quite possibly.

Tomato Two-Piece

It's not quite full-on tomato season in Vermont, but my tomatoes are certainly growing. Lots of blossoms and a few little green fruits.

Here I am, showing off my growing tomatoes (and potatoes) while wearing a tomato two piece. Too much?

Railroad Stripe Eileen Barrel Pants

I'm very behind on the barrel leg pant trend. This is my first pair!

Batik Drafters Grid Skirt

Given the price of the Drafters Grid Dress pattern, you knew I was going to make something else from it before too long!  Plus I really love my first Drafters Grid Dress project, but it's definitely a statement piece, and I was hoping for something more wearable for every day.

Earlier this year my sister and had some fun picking out second-hand craft supplies at The Makery, and we scored some fun stuff!

Denim Taylor Trousers

You know a pair of pants is good if you wear it for a 26,000-step day in NYC and are still looking fresh and feeling comfortable!

From Sketch to Reality: Harlequin Dress

I look forward to receiving my "Aunt of the Year" award; I've been composing my acceptance speech since finishing this project!

Roberts Wood Drafter's Grid Dress

Finally finished this dress and am so pleased with it! It's big, it's bright, it's twirly!

It was a beast of a project and I have things to say about it!

Sweater Knit Sigrid Coat

I know I've been making spring and summer dresses recently, but the reality of the weather situation here in Vermont is that multiple layers of wool are still required at least every other day.

Float Shawl in Uranocircite

Liz of @_busylizzie introduced me to this shawl pattern, and the concept of assigned pooling knitting, earlier in the year and I immediately became obsessed.

Deadstock Wool Taylor Trousers

I know, I know, another pair of Taylor Trousers? And a wool pair with spring right around the corner?

Yes, but we just got another inch of snow last night, so there is still time for these winter pants.

Tim's Two Piece Setacular

Tim had a boys trip to the beach last month, so I made him a ridiculous two-piece set for beach bumming, and then made him take photos of it in the snow.

Phoebe Coat

A coat! And it's still winter!

I'm so happy to have finished this while I can still wear it.

Ponte Reya Pants

After my first pair of Reya pants went so swimmingly, I went ahead and cut another pair, inspired by the athleisure/loungewear versions of the Reya pants that Gabriela and Nicole made.

Night and Day Cowl

How cute does Tim look in this cowl I knit?!

Deadstock Wool Tweed Reya Pants

Now that I've shared the "hard pants" I made recently, here are some softer pants!

Muppet-y Wool Loren Jackets

My sister referred to these fabrics as "Muppet-y" and I think that's a pretty accurate description.

A fun Christmas gift I made for my niece: a dramatic velvet cloak with sequined peacock feathers.
