Denim Arielle Skirt
I've had a denim Tilly and the Buttons Arielle skirt in my head for over two years now, since I made my original, well-loved grey Arielle skirt.

Wearable Muslin: Itch to Stitch Bonn Shirt
In which I regret my fabric choice because I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be out of place on a lounge chair cushion on the Golden Girls' lanai...

Polka Dot Roberts Dungarees
Sorry for the long blogging break! I've been away from my machine for a little while now, traveling around to Cambodia and Vietnam with my mom. But we did sneak a bit of sewing in in between travels!

Seasonally Inappropriate Sewing: Mini Sutton Blouse
Oh man, I started this Mini Sutton Blouse for my niece so many months ago, back when it was seasonally appropriate for her!

Phakhaoma Buttonfront Maya
Several months ago I bought a stack of traditional Thai handwoven plaid fabric at Chatuchak market from Nuala-Or. The fabric, a lightweight, loosely woven cotton fabric called "phakhaoma," came pre-cut in this narrow (32"), double-border piece. You can read more about traditional uses for phakhaoma here and check out some Thai artisans trying to revive the fabric with modern options.

Arielle Skirt
Just in time for Me-Made-May, I've made myself a new skirt! I noticed last year that my me-made wardrobe was mostly tops and dresses, sorely in need of pants and skirts. I've failed to make a significant dent on the pants front (with the exception of my Ginger jeans and a couple Hudsons), but have made progress in the skirt department. Add this one to the list.

Colorblocked Wenona Shirt
Alrighty, folks. I'm back! I've actually been doing lots of unselfish sewing of late, but haven't blogged about those makes because I have to send the final products around the world to the recipients and then wait for photos in return. So, coming soon(ish) on those.
But in the meantime, my most recent make is for myself. And I've got mixed things to say about it.

Muse Patterns Jenna Cardigan
Back in action after almost 3 weeks away from my sewing machine! I can't complain, though, as I was traveling to some pretty cool places (Krabi and Chiang Rai, Thailand and Luang Prabang, Laos) and doing some pretty cool things (island hopping, silk weaving, cooking classes...)!

Floral New Look 6107 Blouse
Wow, I have had this pattern in my stash for a long time. I've been intending to make it, as I had a strong feeling it would be a solid pattern for me, but the newest indie pattern is always more of a draw than a stalwart Big 4 basic... or is that just me? But this Big 4 pattern is a winner and I'll definitely make it again:
