Summer is the time for cropped tops!
I've had my eye on the Double Ugly Studio Sour Cherry button-up shirt for a while now- I just love the proportions!
Sour Cherry is a collared button-up shirt with elbow length raglan sleeves. It is cropped, dartless, and has a boxy fit.
The pattern comes in sizes 1-18, to fit chest measurements of 30 to 64 inches. I sewed up a size 10, for a 48 inch bust, which worked great.
I used a remnant from my stash, a double layered cotton that was a bit shifty to sew and clingy to wear, although very soft.
My buttonholer hated this fabric (well, it hates most fabric these days), so I went with some metal snaps for closures.
I'm pretty happy with my Sour Cherry! I'd like to try sewing it up in a different fabric, as I think the stickiness of this fabric affects how the garment hangs.
