I've been meaning to make another Elbe Textiles Townsend shirt since testing the pattern last year...
I just love this pattern, but I wasn't getting as much wear out of my polka dot version as I wanted; I thought a solid color Townsend would be really classy for work.
I went with a piece of fabric from my stash, a textured organic cotton in navy from Stash, the same fabric I used for this Henrietta skirt years ago. Perfect drape, great texture, beautiful color.
The Townsend Shirt is a button up shirt with grown on sleeves and wrap ties built into the front bodice that cross over the button stand at the waist, tied at the back.
The Townsend Shirt comes in sizes A-N, up to 57 inch bust/60 inch hip. This is a size I.
Pretty in love with this shirt! It looks great paired with my Named Ninni culottes, which I can't believe I've had for almost 10 years!
