Denim Taylor Trousers

You know a pair of pants is good if you wear it for a 26,000-step day in NYC and are still looking fresh and feeling comfortable!

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have caught a sneak peek of these tailored trouser jeans in my Me Made May videos. I wore these for a long day in the city- eating bagels, checking out the Tenement Museum, birria tacos, and a Mets game, among other activities.

These are the BF Patterns Taylor Trousers. View B, the flat front workwear version with back packet pockets. Size 20 from Range 1.

This is my 4th pair of Taylor Trousers... olive loaf twill, fleece-lined, and deadstock wool. Can't stop, won't stop! I have and will always be a pattern repeater, especially when it's this good.

I just love the fit and the details. Such nice finishes- big pockets with lovely facings, bias bound waistband, deep hem.

The fabric is a beautiful Italian denim I bought from my local, Stash. This is 100% cotton, 10 oz, non-stretch denim with a lovely sheen with these tan, almost gold undertones. Lovely to work with and lovely to wear.

For pocket bags and the waistband binding, I used this wax print fabric left over from my Ejiro skirt. Love the pop of print on the inside!

I used a heavy duty snap for a closure.

I remembered to put a tag on this pair, on the back pocket. Labels also from Stash Fabric: Quality Shit

I'm so happy with these trouser jeans. I know they will be a wardrobe workhorse for me! Nice enough to wear to the office, comfortable...

2 points to anyone who can spot the mosquitos attacking me in these photos!
