Boiled Wool Clove Vest in Pine Green

Yes, another day, another Clove Vest. I like what I like!

This is the Charlotte Emma Patterns Clove Vest sewing pattern in a boiled wool blend from Stash

It's my fifth version of the Clove Vest, and my third in boiled wool

This is clearly a combination that's working for me! I feel very "me" when I wear my Clove vests.

This vest (and its siblings!) are the perfect transitional wardrobe piece. Excellent for layering over a shirt or t-shirt, under a jacket, blazer or cardigan for a bit of extra warmth.

You can see me wearing it as a layer under my recent quilt coat here!

I love that this vest takes very little fabric (1.25 yds in my size), and is such a quick make with nice finishes- neckline and armhole facings and a fun split hem.

The Clove Vest pattern goes up to a UK size 36, a 60 inch bust/64 inch hip.

I cut the same size as last time, a UK size 24, which is in the D-cup range.

I cut the shorter of the Cloves two lengths, which hits at high hip on me, and opted for the crew neck view.

I just adore this vest!
