Remy Raglan in Fableism

A fun little project to distract myself... a beautiful blouse!

This is the Sew House Seven Remy Raglan, which I've made once before (but not in my favorite fabric).

This time, I made the Remy with the dramatic gathered sleeves and in a gorgeous fabric.

The fabric is part of the Fableism Canyon Springs line, which is now carried at Stash. It's a lovely lightweight, yarn-dyed, cotton fabric in an earthy color palette.

This colorway is Formation in turquoise, a pretty green-blue background with textured woven brown and golden tan stripes.

My Remy Raglan is a size 20. Like last time, I think perhaps I could have gone down a size a the hips, but I was too lazy to re-trace the pattern. We'll see how it feels after a few wears; I may take it in a bit!

I'm having some mild regrets about not playing more with the stripe direction on this fabric, but I was worried that the fabric might not hang right if I used too much of the cross-grain.

I'm really loving this bouse. The fun sleeves, the beautiful texture, the fall-adjacent colors!

It pairs beautifully with my caramel twill Eileen pants... I wore this outfit to the office yesterday and felt pretty chic.
