Tim took himself fabric shopping while on a work trip. I have trained him well.
He went on a work trip to Delhi, India in November and hit up Tessuto House of Couture Fabrics. He brought home several lengths of fabric, including a few batiks and some block prints.
I decided to whip him up a shirt for summer with one of the fabrics he picked, a beautiful maroon batik with a graphic chain design.
I used my go-to pattern, McCall's 6044.
His size is roughly a large. I've sorta lost track over time since I've made it so often and use a traced off version of the pattern.
I switched up the direction of the chain stripes on the pocket, sleeves and button band.
Not much else to say about this make from a TNT pattern except that Tim is looking pretty slick in these photos, huh?
