I'm so happy that #SewTwistsandTies 2020 is finally here!
It's going to be a fun month...
I've got a ton of amazing giveaways throughout the month on Instagram from pattern designers with a twist or tie pattern in their line-up. Stay tuned for giveaways from Cashmerette, Fehr Trade, Itch to Stitch, Megan Nielsen, Designer Stitch, Style Arc, Seamwork, and yours truly!
So now, plans. I hope you've had a chance to peruse my Sew Twists and Ties pattern round-up and sewalongs/tutorials posts to pick out a pattern for the challenge!
Be sure to check out my Sew Twists and Ties pinboard, because it seems like everyday I discover a new twist or tie pattern that I didn't have in my round-ups. I've kept the Sew Twists and Ties Pinterest board up-to-date, though!
Mixing and Matching Challenges
I'm also planning to round up some ideas for combining #SewTwistsandTies with other sewing challenges running in January, like #SewFancyPants and #SewYourBooks. Coming soon...
Me myself, I'm planning a few twist and tie garments myself. I've already cut out a Jalie Rachel (inspired by Gillian and Renee), have a Butterick 6621 twist dress on the list (inspired by Nakisha), maybe some Style Arc Tully Pants (in honor of Sew Fancy Pants), potentially a Seamwork Flor (after seeing Shar's)... we'll see if I get to it all, though!
How about you? Planning any twist or tie projects? What's on your list?!
