Two stripey tees for summer!
I batch cut and sewed these two stripey tees using fabric from my stash, and I love them both.
For a pattern, I used the Helen's Closet Jackson Tee, which I have made numerous times for myself, for Tim, for my nieces, my sister... it's definitely a tried and true pattern for me.
Both tees are size 20, in View A, which is the shorter tee with the short sleeves.
I love the Jackson's boxy fit, slightly dropped shoulder, hip length, and high neckline.
The blue is striped cotton jersey (maybe a cotton/poly blend?) I bought when I lived in Bangkok, I think. It's been in the stash a while!
The vintage-y cream and olive stripe is a cotton jersey from deadstock fabric shop Sew by Sew, purchased a few years back. Love that retro olive green and the double stripe!
Couple of Kylie and the Machine labels to finish off the necklines, as well as my favorite variegated serger thread:
Pretty delighted with these! They both go with my Roberts Wood Drafters Grid skirt, so I've been wearing them with that, and basically everything.
