Man, I posted a work-in-progress shot of this v-neck t-shirt I was sewing for my sister and people went crazy for it!
I believe it's one of my most liked Instagram posts ever. Folks love a good v-neck, apparently! And so do I!
This was a birthday gift for my sister, who loves a slouchy v-neck t-shirt. She had admired my Kommatia Patterns Relaxed Fit t-shirt, so I whipped one up for her using the same pattern.
Hers is a size medium bust blended to a large hip. The fit is pretty good: definitely relaxed, as advertised. But pleasantly slouchy and not super oversized.
For fabric, I used some of this super lightweight slubby Hacci sweater knit, which I also used for a Style Arc Nina cardigan a couple years back. It worked well for the t-shirt, as it has a nice drape and cool texture.
I think the Kommatia t-shirt looks great on her! Lovely neckline, nicely shaped hemline, cute sleeve turn-ups. A winner! She wore it out within an hour of me giving it to her, which is a good sign that she likes it.
