Fresh off my recent Pietra Pants, I immediately made another pair. I just adore the fit of this pattern!
I really needed a pair of solid black pants, on the dressier side. They're just so versatile.
Stash, my local shop, had the perfect fabric: a lovely tencel cotton twill.
This bottom weight fabric is really a delight to work with and to wear. Great drape and weight from the tencel, and crispness from the cotton. A fabulous pant fabric.
These Pietras are the same size as my last pair, and I made the same adjustment.
Size 18 from the larger size range, shortened one inch, with the back elastic shortened to the length indicated for the size 18 from the smaller range.
These pants will be an absolute wardrobe staple for me. I will wear them regularly.
Paired here with my wool ponte Tobin sweater!
