Party Shirt

Tim needed a new party shirt, so he got a new party shirt.

His previous party shirt, a McCall's 6044 from a tropical palm print cotton voile, has been a favorite of his since I made it. 

It's so worn at this stage that it's looking a bit faded and tatty. 

So I made him another McCall's 6044, again out of a silky cotton voile, but this time in a geometric print that looks like it belongs on Saved by the Bell, or maybe Parker Lewis Can't Lose. 

I think this is a Japanese fabric that I bought from my favorite shop, Hieng Yoo Huat, when I lived in Bangkok.

Pearl snaps to finish and party shirt achieved!

He's worn it three times since I made it, so I think it's a winner.
